Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Tboli conducted Fire and Earthquake Drill at TLDFI Office on October 2, 2017
In line with the campaign of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to conduct its annual fire drills and earthquake drills in offices and residential buildings nationwide as mandated by the Fire Code of the Philippines (RA 9514). Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Tboli conducted an Earthquake and Fire Drill at TLDFI Office to equip its staff with the knowledge, proper attitude and skills on what to do in case of a natural and man-made disasters such as earthquake and fire.
The lecture on Earthquake and Fire Drill, headed by SFO4 Arturo Fragata, was facilitated by FO1 Bayani B. Ejambre and SFO1 Eugene Vego. They discussed about the procedures and proper ways of handling a situation in case a fire starts or an earthquake hits the region. Afterwards, the TLDFI Staff were taught about proper handling of fire extinguishers as first aid in fire fighting and the BFP-Tboli gave some tips on how to respond to such disasters. They also gave brochures to inform people about the importance of preventing disasters.
